چکیده

Objectives: 1. To assess the value of baseline NTproBNP at admission and to determine levels serum creatinine 48 hours 72 after procedure for evidence contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) patients undergoing CAG. 2. evaluate relationship between values CIN. Materials Methods: This is an observational study performed June 2021-November 2021 Nizams Institute Medical Sciences in 75 diagnosed with ACS. we assessed role nt pro bnp as a predictive biomarker diagnosis contrast induced ACS coronary angiography. Serum repeated h post compared baseline. Results: Spearman’s correlation test was used NT-proBNP ejection fraction on 2D echo. The rho (-0.69) suggestive strong negative correlation. P & lt; 0.001 making it statistically significant. Simple linear regression analysis predict by percentage among patients, showed that, every 1% decrease fraction, will significantly increase 102.90 pg/mL 0.001. Wilcoxon Signed Rank compare 48/72 angiography contrast, incidence acute kidney injury (AKI) shown resulting 0.001, thus ROC curve establish association marker AKI shows cut off gt;1670 has sensitivity 81.82% specifity 98.44% significant Conclusion: It observed that >1670 prior procedure, associated risk development nephropathy. Contrast-Induced Nephropathy in Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

BACKGROUND Contrast media are being widely applied for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. This has resulted in increasing incidence of contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN). METHODS We aimed to investigate the value of baseline serum IL-6 concentrations in predicting CIN before the rise of serum creatinine (SCr) in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. Seventy four Cauca...

Contrast Induced Nephropathy After Brain and Cervical CT Angiography in Stroke Patients: A Prospective Study

Background: Contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) is a major side effect of intravenous iodinated contrast and causes both short- and long-term adverse effects. While diagnostic and interventional procedures of brain ischemia are recently advanced, it is necessary to be cautious about its major side effect. Objectives: To evaluate CIN and its risk factors in neurology patients after brain and cer...

Significance of Cystatin C for Early Diagnosis of Contrast-Induced Nephropathy in Patients Undergoing Coronary Angiography

BACKGROUND Contrast-induced nephropathy is acute kidney injury caused by contrast medium exposure. Serum creatinine is the clinical diagnostic standard, but it does not yield quick results. The serum level of cystatin C is stable and it can reflect renal function sensitively. The study aimed to assess the usefulness of cystatin C for early diagnosis of contrast-induced nephropathy in patients u...

Urinary interleukin-18 as an early indicator to predict contrast-induced nephropathy in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention

Contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) is at present the third leading cause of hospital-acquired acute kidney injury (AKI). Traditionally, it is diagnosed by measuring an increase of the serum creatinine (SCr) concentration. However, SCr is an insensitive marker for detecting CIN. This study was designed to investigate whether human urinary interleukin-18 (IL-18) is early predictive marker for CIN...

Urinary semaphorin 3A as an early biomarker to predict contrast-induced acute kidney injury in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention

Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) is a serious complication of diagnostic coronary angiograph and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). However, the exact pathophysiological mechanisms underlying CI-AKI development are largely unknown. The present study examined whether urinary semaphorin 3A levels predict the development of CI-AKI in patients undergoing PCI. This study enrolled...
